Walkthrough

The second part of the Seven Signs chain for level 79+, after Seven Sign, Series of Doubt: hold a memorial service and defeat an evil spirit. Starts with Hollint.

# Start

  1. Talk to Hollint - he gives you Jacob's Necklace.
  2. Take the necklace to Cain at «Altar of Rites» - he takes it and asks for herbs.
  3. Find Eric in «The Enchanted Valley» - he gives you Deadman's Herb.

# Rite and battle

  1. Return to Cain and hand over the herb - a cutscene starts.
  2. Talk to him again and hear him out - Shilen's Evil Thoughts appears nearby and attacks you at once.
  3. Kill it - you get Sculpture of Doubt.
  4. Give the statuette to Cain.

# Completion

  1. Talk to Sir Gustav Athebaldt - the quest is complete.

# Reward

No item rewards: the quest gives only XP and SP (at server rates) - all at once, no choice.
