Refund Policy

1. Donations, Not Purchases
Contributions to L2 Afterwork are voluntary donations toward running the project — hosting, development, day-to-day operation. They are not purchases of goods, services, or subscriptions. When you donate, the server credits a symbolic thank-you reward (typically Coins of Luck or related in-game items) to your account, but you are not buying those items.
Because donations are voluntary contributions rather than a commercial transaction, refunds are by their nature not applicable, with the narrow exceptions set out in Section 3 below.
2. What You Receive Is a Thank-You, Not a Product
Coins of Luck (CoL), in-game items, accumulated bonus percentages and any other reward credited as a thank-you are symbolic acknowledgements of your support. They have no monetary value outside the game, cannot be exchanged for real money, and are delivered immediately to your game account once the donation is confirmed.
All of these rewards are also obtainable through regular gameplay — donations do not unlock exclusive power.
3. When a Refund Will Be Issued
A full refund will be issued, on request, in the following cases only:
- Duplicate charge — the same order was processed and charged more than once by the payment provider. The duplicate amount is refunded.
- Non-delivery — your payment was successfully captured by the provider but the corresponding thank-you reward was not credited to your account within 24 hours.
- Unauthorized payment — the transaction was made without the account holder's consent and is reported to us promptly (see Section 5 for timeframes).
Refunds are processed through the original payment method. Processing time depends on the payment provider and your bank — typically 3 to 14 business days.
4. Chargebacks
If you believe a payment was made in error, always contact us first — we will investigate and resolve eligible cases quickly. Initiating a chargeback, payment reversal, or dispute with your bank, card issuer, or payment provider without contacting us first will result in:
- Immediate and permanent suspension of the associated game account
- Clawback of all items, currency and bonuses credited from the disputed donation
- Permanent loss of eligibility to donate on L2 Afterwork in the future
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, contact us via the contact form or by email. Requests must be submitted within 30 days of the transaction. Please include:
- Your game account login and character nickname
- The order ID (visible in your donation history)
- The payment provider transaction ID and the exact timestamp of the payment
- A short description of the problem (duplicate charge, non-delivery, unauthorized payment)
We review eligible refund requests within 3 business days and will contact you by email with the outcome.
