Walkthrough

The first quest of the Forest of the Dead chain for characters of level 55+: wake the ghost of von Hellmann and find Cross of Einhasad. Starts with Mysterious Wizard in «Forest of the Dead», reward - EXP, SP and Cross of Einhasad for the quest Tragedy in von Hellmann Forest.

# Ghost of von Hellmann

  1. Talk to Mysterious Wizard in «Forest of the Dead» and agree to deal with the spirit.
  2. Find Tombstone nearby and read the inscription - Ghost of von Hellmann will appear next to it.
  3. Listen to the ghost to the end and agree to find out what happened to his family - Ghost of von Hellmann's Page will appear.

# Bookshelf

  1. Follow the servant: he leads you through the forest himself. When he stops, talk to him.
  2. Broken Bookshelf stands nearby. Examine it, read the book and pick up what fell out of it - you get Cross of Einhasad.

# Temple of Rune

  1. Take the cross to the temple of «Rune Township» and talk to all three priests: Agripel, Benedict and Dominic. The first two brush you off, the third says Innocentin should be looked for in the library.
  2. Find Innocentin (hover over the name to see where he stands on the map), listen to him to the end and give him the cross - the quest ends.

# Reward

Always: EXP, SP and Cross of Einhasad - the next quest Tragedy in von Hellmann Forest takes it, don't throw it away. No choice, the quest is one-time. The cross found in the bookshelf is taken when you hand in the quest.

The next quest of the chain, Tragedy in von Hellmann Forest, starts with Tifaren.
