# Entry and the three crystals

Baylor is a level 83 boss at the end of the «Crystal Caverns» instance. No quest is required to enter: Contaminated Crystal lets you into the cave, and three crystals let you reach Baylor itself: Blue Crystal, Red Crystal and Clear Crystal. They are dropped by the three cave bosses, or you can buy them in Alt+B → «Shop» → «Quest» for 100,000,000 adena each. Every party member needs the crystals, not only the leader. On the way to each of the three cave bosses you need their own consumables - they are in the table below.

Instance	Level	Players	Time	Reset	Entry	Buffs
«Crystal Caverns»	78-85	2-9	90 min	Daily 6:30	Contaminated Crystal (everyone, not consumed on entry)	Removed

Crystals for entering «Baylor»

Path in the cavern	Boss	Crystal	What you need on the path
«Run Coral Garden.»	Tears	Clear Crystal	Crystal Fragment - several per party: they are thrown on the ground to bring two Crystalline Golem to their places, after which the door to the boss opens for Tears itself - one Water Dragon Scale
«Run Emerald Square/Steam Corridor», then kill Gatekeeper Lohan	Darnel	Blue Crystal	Secret Key × 3 per party - one for the door of each of the three rooms the door is opened by whoever has the key
«Run Emerald Square/Steam Corridor», then kill Gatekeeper Provo	Kechi	Red Crystal	Red Coral × 3 for each member - one for each of the three transfers between rooms

Entering the cave: a party of 2-9 characters; the leader talks to Oracle Guide and the others stand next to them. There is no limit on the number of windows from one computer. Every member must have Contaminated Crystal in their inventory.
Where to get Contaminated Crystal: it is given at the end of the «Dark Cloud Mansion» instance (a party of 2 characters of level 78-85, no cooldown; it is given if you do not have the crystal yet) or bought in Alt+B → «Shop» → «Grocery» for 15,000,000 adena.
One of the three bosses is killed per run. At the moment of its death, Contaminated Crystal of every party member inside the instance turns into that boss's crystal. For the next run you need a new Contaminated Crystal.
There are two ways to reach Baylor. Right away: Oracle Guide at the start of the Labyrinth, while the party has not yet chosen a path, shows the «Attack Baylor» button in addition to the two paths - fighting the cave bosses is not needed. Or after a cave boss: when it dies, Oracle Guide appears nearby, and the party has 5 minutes. In both cases the button is pressed by the leader of a party of 2 or more characters, the others stand nearby, and every member must have all three crystals - Blue Crystal, Red Crystal and Clear Crystal. If even one member lacks a crystal, nobody is let in.
When entering Baylor, two kinds of crystals out of three are chosen at random for the whole party, and one crystal of these two is taken from every member; nobody loses the third kind. A missing crystal can be obtained again from its cave boss or bought in Alt+B → «Shop» → «Quest» for 100,000,000 adena. Crystals cannot be traded. The cave is available once a day: in one run you can kill one cave boss and then Baylor, or go straight to Baylor.
Once per fight, when it has between 15% and 10% HP left, Tears becomes invulnerable. Invulnerability is removed by a single Water Dragon Scale used on Tears: any participant can use it, including a character without a party. The scale is sold in Alt+B → «Shop» → «Quest» for 5,000,000 adena.
Red Coral and Crystal Fragment drop from Eva's Gift Box not far from the cave entrance if the killer has «Kiss of Eva» active: one item, coral or shard, with equal chance. If the killer has taken the quest Bird in a Cage, 1-2 more Red Coral drop in addition, and Crystal Fragment with a 50% chance. Both items can be traded.
Secret Key is given by Rignos for a race: in 30 minutes, kill four Prison Guard and bring him 4 Race Stamp - for this he gives 3 keys. The race is available from level 78 and only one player can run it at a time. The key cannot be traded.
No quest is required to enter. Bird in a Cage helps to collect Red Coral, and for the quest itself you need to kill Baylor: after its death Oracle Guide teleports to Parme only those who have taken this quest.
Baylor's Earring drops from the special chest after Baylor (table in the "Reward" section below) and is given for the last step of the «Baylor Raider» achievement: Achievements.

# Reward

After Baylor dies, 16 treasure chests appear in the hall: 15 regular and one special; the special one's place is random each time, and they look the same. A chest must be broken. Each row of the table is rolled separately, and one item drops from a row. The table shows final chances; a premium account does not affect them.
