# Three tiers for each family

Grand Boss jewellery is the base of the top build of any character in High Five. Each jewellery family has three tiers tied to three levels of the inner skill. The starting Cursed tier is a custom feature of the server: personal jewellery available to absolutely every player through the Forge Cursed service in Community Board → Services → Boss Jewelry (exchange services). It is where the path to top jewellery begins - you can gradually upgrade it to Original and then to Improved.

Cursed (lvl 1) — custom personal tier
Available to absolutely every player via the Forge Cursed service. Bound to the character: cannot be transferred or listed on the market. Can be upgraded to Original.
Original (lvl 2) — retail tier
Standard loot from Grand Bosses (schedule) and instance bosses (Cavern of the Pirate Captain (Nightmare), Final Emperial Tomb, Ice Queen's Castle: Sirra). The drop chance is fixed and does not depend on server rates.
Improved (lvl 3) — top tier
Stats noticeably stronger than Original. Built via the Upgrade Jewelry service.

# Where to get Epic Jewelry Powder

«Epic Jewelry Powder» (Epic Jewelry Powder) is the main currency of the Grand Boss jewelry system. All three services run on it: Forge Cursed creates the starting Cursed tier, Upgrade Jewelry gradually leads from Cursed to Improved, and Shatter to Powder turns unneeded jewelry back into powder so the resource can go into a new set. Powder is collected from six independent sources: taking part in Grand Boss raids, the bonus for the two daily quests in Dragon Valley, a full set of Olympiad certificates in the Olympiad Starter quest, taking part in killing «Lost Captain» in Kamaloka, exchanging «Essence of Kamaloka» with the Pathfinder, and the bosses of Crystal Caverns. For Grand Boss raids, powder goes to every player who hit the boss at least once and was within 3000 units of it at the moment of death. The last hit and top damage do not matter - the reward is for taking part in the fight. If you died during the fight but were in the reward zone at the moment of the final blow, the powder still arrives - it goes straight into your inventory, nothing drops on the ground, and there is nothing to pick up after a resurrection. A pet or servitor credits its damage to the owner, with no duplicates. Outsiders are not included: for instance bosses (all three «Zaken», «Tiat» in the Seed of Destruction, Last Imperial Tomb, Freya's Castle) the reward is given only inside your own copy of the zone, and the Grand Boss lairs («Antharas», «Valakas», «Baium») close as soon as the fight starts - whoever did not get in is not on the list. The chance depends on the particular boss: «Queen Ant», «Core», «Orfen», «Beleth» and Freya Extreme always give powder; «Zaken», the final phase of Frintezza and Freya Easy - in half of the cases; the main Grand Bosses «Baium», «Valakas» and «Antharas», as well as «Sailren» and «Tiat» in the Seed of Destruction - in 30% of cases. The full list is in the table below. The daily quests in Dragon Valley are the most predictable powder channel: Wings of Sand and Don't Know, Don't Care are available from level 80 and can be turned in every day. Wings of Sand gives Vesper and Sealed Vesper pieces, Vesper recipes and Blessed Enchant Scrolls; Don't Know, Don't Care gives Sealed Vorpal pieces and jewelry, enchant scrolls, Element Crystals and guaranteed «Gemstone S». On top of this reward, a separate 30% chance for «Epic Jewelry Powder» is rolled when you turn in - two quests a day give two chances, day after day. All sources add up and do not get in each other's way: go to Grand Boss and collect powder for each participation; turn in both dailies in Dragon Valley and add more on top; finish the daily series of Olympiad fights and get one more guaranteed; go to the Labyrinth of the Abyss (83) - 20% from each «Lost Captain», while essences pile up for exchange. The tighter your schedule, the faster you collect a full Grand Boss jewelry set of the Improved tier.
